Arlington, VA (July 14, 2021) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding (Earthing) for Customer Premises, Addendum 1: Harmonization with ANSI/TIA-222.

ANSI/TIA-607-D-1 This addendum to ANSI/TIA-607-D, Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding (Earthing) for Customer Premises, is to capture changes that will harmonize information, including but not limited to Annex D, Towers and Antennas, with ANSI/TIA-222, Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures, Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures when appropriate.

ANSI/TIA-607-D-1 was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems, TR-42.3 Commercial Building Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces subcommittee.
