Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (July 6, 2021) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.1 Engineering Committee on Premises Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a call for interest for document TSB-5046 initially titled ” Process for Sustainable Information Communications Technology Manufacturers”. TR-42.1 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” This Technical Systems Bulletin provides recommendations for a process to establish, implement and document sustainable practices for manufacturers of information communications technology equipment and infrastructure. This process applies to manufacturing of products, administration, facilities, and general operations associated with products.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Cabling system designers, consultants, architects, engineers; manufacturers, facilities management organizations, end users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
