TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Educational Facilities Addendum 1: Balanced Single Twisted-pair Cabling

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (October 13, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.1 Engineering Committee on Premises Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a call for interest for document TIA-4966-A-1 initially titled ” Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Educational Facilities Addendum 1: Balanced Single Twisted-pair Cabling “. TR-42.1 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” This Addendum adds balanced single twisted-pair cabling.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Designers; installers; education facility owners.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
