TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Minimum Standards for Communications Antennas, Part 3: Portable Antennas
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (November 4, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.11 Engineering Committee on Antenna Systems has issued a call for interest for document TIA-329.3-A initially titled ” Minimum Standards for Communications Antennas, Part 3: Portable Antennas “. TR-8.11 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Incorporate addendum TIA-329.3-1. Identify and incorporate any other updates required since initial publication.”
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: 1.Portable radio manufacturers, 2. Antenna manufacturers, 3. Radio communications consultants, 4. Portable radio user organizations such as public safety agencies, public utilities, transportation organizations, etc.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
