TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Mounting System Classification
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington, VA. (December 11, 2020) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-14 Engineering Committee on Structural Standards for Communications and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures has issued a call for interest for document TIA-5053-A initially titled “Mounting System Classification “. TR-14 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Create a new revision to the TIA-5053 standard to be consistent with industry practice and needs.”
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Industry, Steel Antenna Towers, Users and Manufacturers.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
