TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures and Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (December 11, 2020) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-14 Engineering Committee on Structural Standards for Communications and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-222-H-2 initially titled ” Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures and Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures “. TR-14 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: “Create a new Addendum (Addendum 2) the TIA-222 standard to update 222 Standard for consistency with other referenced Standards.”

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Industry, Steel Antenna Towers, Users and Manufacturers.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
