TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Wireless Communications Systems Performance in Noise and Interference-Limited Situations Part 3: Recommended Methods for Technology-Independent Narrowband Performance Verification
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (December 8, 2023) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.18 Engineering Committee on Wireless Systems Compatibility- Interference and Coverage has issued a call for interest for document TSB-88.3-G initially titled ” Wireless Communications Systems Performance in Noise and Interference-Limited Situations Part 3: Recommended Methods for Technology-Independent Narrowband Performance Verification “. TR-8.18 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: “Discusses coverage performance verification for narrowband radio systems in noise- and interference-limited situations.”
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Managers of wireless radio systems; Bidders on RFPs for wireless radio systems; Consultants in the radio communications field.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
