TIA Issues Updated Optical Fiber Cabling Component Standard, ANSI/TIA-568.3-E

Arlington, VA (September 29, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-568.3-E, Optical Fiber Cabling Component Standard.

ANSI/TIA-568.3-E This document revising TIA-568.3-D to include the content from TIA-568.3-D-1 Addendum 1: General Updates and additional content deemed appropriate by the formulating subcommittee. The new document maintains a 5-year revision cadence on maintenance of standard, incorporating content from published addendum, and update pertinent content to reflect the latest technological updates and capabilities.

ANSI/TIA-568.3-E was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems, TR-42.11 Optical Systems subcommittee.
