TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Optical Fiber Cabling and Components
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (October 5, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.11 Engineering Committee on Optical Fiber Systems has issued a call for interest for document TIA-568.3-E-1 initially titled ” Optical Fiber Cabling and Components “. TR-42.11 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Create an addendum (supplement) to current standard.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: TR-42.1, TR-42.11, TR-42.13, IEC 86B, IEC 86C, ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC25/WG3, end-users, installers, designers of optical fiber cabling systems.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
