TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Trunking Control Channel Messages- Addendum 1
Arlington, VA (December 4, 2019) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-E-1 initially titled Trunking Control Channel Messages- Addendum 1.
TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: “The main scope of this addendum proposes a more flexible use of the abbreviated format of the Status Update Request over the air message.”
The stakeholders may include but are not limited to P25 manufacturers and users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
