TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation

Arlington VA. (July 30, 2018) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.3 Engineering Committee on Telecommunications Administration, Pathways, Spaces, Bonding and Grounding (569) has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-569-E initially titled “Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces.”

This standard specifies requirements for telecommunications pathways and spaces. TIA is actively seeking participation in this project from the user and general interest communities. Stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: building owners, architects, installers, tenants, consultants, OEMs, contractors, engineers, and MEP firms.

For more information about TR-42 and how to participate in standards development with TIA, contact Marta Soncodi at standards@tiaonline.org.

A major function of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is the writing and maintenance of voluntary industry standards and specifications. These activities are carried out by the volunteer members of TIA engineering committees. Recent meeting reports, agendas and notices for upcoming meetings, as well as links to some of the most popular standards from each committee are available on the public engineering committee pages. TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Visit tiaonline.org.
