TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project for SM Angled and Non-angled Cylindrical Ferrules
Arlington VA (November 1, 2024) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.13 Engineering Committee on Passive Optical Devices and Fiber Optic Metrology has issued a call for interest for documents TIA-623.1, initially titled “SM Non-angled Cylindrical Ferrules” and TIA-623.2, initially titled “SM Angled Cylindrical Ferrules”.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: end-users, installers, designers of optical fiber interconnecting devices & passive components, IEC SC86B, IEC SC86C.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
