TIA Issues Call for Interest on a New Project for Project 25 – Digital Radio Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR) Messages and Procedures
Arlington VA (March 7, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.3 Engineering Committee on Encryption has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.AACA-D, initially titled “Project 25 – Digital Radio Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR) Messages and Procedures”.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Federal/state/local government; Manufacturers of handheld & mobile radios and systems, and associated equipment; Radio Component and Software Companies; Radio Test Equipment Companies & Test Labs; Radio System Integrators; Consulting firms and Standards Developing Organizations.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
