TIA will Partner with DCIA
Arlington, Va. (December 6, 2017) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech connectivity networks today announced an agreement to partner with the Distributed Computing Industry Association (DCIA), a trade organization dedicated to connecting companies, content, and consumers to the cloud.
Over the next several months, the two organizations will explore opportunities to bring together their expertise and membership in ways that advance TIA’s mission of accelerating modern connectivity and delivering on the business and technology need of ICT companies. In particular, the partnership opens up new possibilities for TIA to examine emerging opportunities in the media and entertainment sector for delivering content through distributed computing technologies.
TIA is an established leader when it comes to technology and business acceleration, global standards development, and business advocacy. The DCIA alliance could lead to expanded expertise and relationships in mobile cloud, big data, cybersecurity, social networking and more.
