TIA Opens Registration for Annual Member Meeting and Global Conference Featuring Leading Industry and Government Speakers

Virtual 2-day Event to Cover Topics Including Evolving Supply Chain Strategies, U.S. BEAD Program, and How Standards Can Improve Global Connectivity and Security

Arlington, VA (May 10, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association—the trusted industry association for the connected world—will hold its annual Member Meeting and Global Conference on June 21 and 22 featuring global business and government leaders discussing the key issues facing the information and communications industry. This year’s theme is “Extending the Reach of Trusted Networks”.

The the first day of the event will be open only to TIA Members and Participants and Day 2 will be open to all industry professionals and government officials and staff. TIA CEO Dave Stehlin and TIA Board Chair, Doug Moore, will kick off the event which will feature keynote speakers including NTIA Administrator, Alan Davidson and the ITU’s Doreen Bogdan-Martin.

The agenda includes keynote sessions and panel discussions with business executives, technology experts and public policy leaders. The leading experts will explore a wide range of ICT-related topics and issues including network supply chain strategies, the U.S. Government’s $45B Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, and building trust in software-driven networks.

“The global ICT industry is facing several simultaneous challenges and opportunities,” said David Stehlin, CEO of TIA. “It has never been more important to bring leaders together for important conversations on the critical issues like strengthening supply chains, explaining the once in a lifetime BEAD program, improving software quality and security, and how international standards can improve connectivity globally.”
