TIA’s Data Center Community brings together stakeholders involved in the design, deployment, operation, evaluation and use of data centers. Comprising a range of data center knowledge and experience, these industry experts collaborate through TIA engineering committees and working groups to focus on a range of issues, standards and best practices that ensure today’s mission critical data centers are designed, maintained and operated based on the globally-accepted TIA-942 data center standard.

Development
The ANSI/TIA-942 standard is developed and maintained by the TIA Engineering Committee TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems and TR-42.1 Subcommittee
TIA-942 Certification
Working Groups
Includes the Oversight Working Group that ensures the integrity of the TIA-942 certification program, as well as other groups to address key issues that impact TIA-942 certification as needed
