TIA TR-8.10 Engineering Committee Issues Call for Interest on New Addendums to Two Standards
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (August 5, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for multiple documents.
TR-8.10 Engineering Committee has issued a call for interest on TIA-102.AABD-B-1 initially titled ” Trunking Procedures – Addendum 1 – Location on PTT “. TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Adds procedures in support of the Location on PTT functionality.” The TR-8.10 Committee issued a second call for interest for document TIA-102.AABD-B-2 Trunking Procedures – Addendum 2 – User Alias”. TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Adds procedures in support of the User Alias functionality.”
TR-8.10 Engineering Committee has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.AABF-D-1 Link Control Word Formats and Messages – Addendum 1 – Location on PTT”. TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Add new messages in support of the Location on PTT functionality.” TR-8.10 issued a second call for interest for document TIA-102.AABF-D-2 initially titled ” Link Control Word Formats and Messages – Addendum 2 – User Alias “. TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Adds new messages in support of the User Alias functionality.”
The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: Manufacturers of P25 equipment.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
