TIA issues New Measurement Methods and Test Fixtures for Balun-less Measurements of Balanced Components and Systems Standard
Arlington, VA (February 27, 2023) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-1183-B, Measurement Methods and Test Fixtures for Balun-less Measurements of Balanced Components and Systems Standard.
TIA-1183-B is a revision of ANSI/TIA-1183-A with known errors that were corrected, nomenclature was updated, and any general needed updates were made.
TIA-1183-B was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems Committee and TR-42.7 Telecommunications Copper Cabling Systems Subcommittee.
TIA actively seeks participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
