TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Wireless Communications Systems Performance in Noise and Interference-Limited Situations Part 2: Propagation and Noise
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (February 9, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.18 Engineering Committee on Wireless Systems Compatibility- Interference and Coverage has issued a call for interest for document TSB-88.2-F-1 initially titled ” Wireless Communications Systems Performance in Noise and Interference-Limited Situations Part 2: Propagation and Noise “. TR-8.18 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: “Expand coverage of propagation losses into buildings with “E” glass; i.e. so-called “green” buildings.”
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Public safety, critical infrastructure, and other private land mobile radio users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
