TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project for Project 25 Link Control Word Formats and Messages
Arlington VA (January 21, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Air Interface has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.AABF-E, initially titled “Project 25 Link Control Word Formats and Messages”.
TR-8.10 is creating this revision to incorporate the followings efforts: 1. Integrates outstanding addenda; 2. Edits to existing content and new content as required; 3. Addresses errata as the current version (AABF-D) published in 2015.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: TR-8.10 participants and P25 manufacturers.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
