TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for ICT Lifecycle Management: Information Management Process -Technology

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington, VA. (July 27, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-60.B Engineering Committee on Information Management has issued a call for interest for document TIA-5077.1 initially titled “ICT Lifecycle Management: Information Management Process- Technology”. TR-60.B is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” TIA-5077.1 focuses on life cycle management of the information about technology components of an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure and their configurations. It includes information on subjects that may include physical and virtual infrastructure including buildings, spaces, cabling, power, active equipment and supporting management systems. TIA-5077.1 will help organizations to plan, deliver, secure and operate their ICT infrastructure with project delivery times and Capex/Opex costs reduced.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: enterprises, government agencies, education, healthcare as well as service providers, integration partners, consultants and equipment manufacturers.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
