TIA Issues a Recirculation Ballot and Public Review Notification for TIA-1005-B, Telecommunication Infrastructure Standard for Industrial Premises
Arlington VA (December 11, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.9 Engineering Committee on Industrial Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a recirculation ballot and call for comments on document TIA-1005-B initially titled ” Telecommunication Infrastructure Standard for Industrial Premises”.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to TR-42.1, TR-42.3, TR-42.7, ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC25/WG3, end-users, installers, designers of industrial cabling systems.
TIA is seeking broad input as per the public review announcement in ANSI’s Standards Action for directly and materially affected parties. In addition, we are actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
