TIA Expert to Talk 5G, Networking and How Data Centers Need to Adapt at BICSI Fall Conference
Arlington, VA (August 18, 2021) – The Telecommunications Industry Association—the trusted industry association for the connected world—announced Jacques Fluet, Director of TIA’s Data Centers Technology Program, will be presenting how data centers will adapt to support a 5G-enabled world in a session at the Building Industry Consulting Service International Fall Conference on August 25.
In his talk, Mr. Fluet will discuss how new applications enabled by 5G are putting added demands on data centers, which will need to cope with everything from software-defined networking to new performance and latency requirements while maintaining reliability expectations.
“5G is enabling game-changing technologies but it requires changes in how network services are delivered,” Fluet said. “Data centers will need to evolve to support the next generation of technologies and applications.”
