TIA Announces Next “Assessing Smart Buildings” Webinar

Expert panel to discuss in-building connectivity and how optimized network infrastructure can facilitate a safer and more productive return to work

Arlington, VA (June 08, 2020) –– The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced details for the second live webinar of its Assessing Smart Buildings series. This next installment will be moderated by TIA and feature experts from Corning, T-Mobile, Symmetry Operations, and Connected Real Estate Magazine. Expert panelists will discuss how the information and communications technology (ICT) networks within smart buildings can help improve work environments for employees and tenants.

“The demand for smarter buildings is not slowing down despite the pandemic,” said TIA CEO, David Stehlin. “But to have smart buildings with sensor and IoT technologies, operational automation through artificial intelligence and machine learning, it all starts with the network. Now, businesses and building owners are looking at how smart buildings can enable a safer return to work after months of working from home and this webinar, with our panel of industry experts, will explore how the network can help make that possible.”
