Samsung Joins TIA to Help Address Critical Issues Facing the ICT Industry

Worldwide technology leader brings a global perspective to collaborate on industry initiatives

Arlington, VA (November 17, 2021) – The Telecommunications Industry Association—the trusted industry association for the connected world—welcomes Samsung as a new member, joining the association to help advance ICT innovation and advocate for a more secure, connected future.

“We are thrilled to have Samsung join TIA as a Full Member. The breadth of their technology and knowledge of the regulatory landscape will be great additions and a natural fit to TIA’s efforts to advance our ICT industry,” said TIA CEO, David Stehlin. “Samsung’s international presence and diverse portfolio of 5G solutions will bring a broad and global perspective to the important work we are doing to make next-generation networks and supply chains more widely available, reliable and secure.”

“Samsung is very supportive of the work that TIA is doing, and we are happy to join them and the rest of their membership as we drive the ICT industry forward together,” said John Godfrey, Sr. Vice President Public Policy at Samsung. “As broadband networks are becoming more widely accessible with increasing investment in infrastructure, the advocacy of TIA and its members is of critical importance. Samsung is committed to helping improve the availability, and security of networks globally.”
