David Kozischek
TR-42
TIA is proud to recognize Dave Kozischek for his exceptional leadership and years of contribution to TR-42. Dave has held leadership positions as Chair and Vice Chair of TR-42.12 and Editor of ANSI/TIA-1179-B. He has been an active contributor to most TR-42 subcommittees including TR-42.1, TR-42.3, TR-42.5, TR-42.11, TR-42.12, and TR-42.13. Dave is a major contributor to many TIA standards, most notably ANSI/TIA-568.1, ANSI/TIA-568.3, ANSI/TIA-5017, and ANSI/TIA-942. As Chair of TR-42.12, he oversaw the processes to review, renew, and revise the Fiber Optic Testing Procedure (FOTP) series of standards. TIA thanks Dave for his significant contribution to the success of TIA’s standards.
Angela Lambert
TR-42
TIA recognizes Angela Lambert for her years of contributions, expertise, and service at TIA. Angie’s service at TIA began in the late-90s and continued periodically through 2026. She has been active in many TR-42 subcommittees including TR-42.1, TR-42.11, TR-42.12, and TR-42.13. In addition, she has represented the US positions at multiple TIA-administered US TAGs including ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25 and IEC TC 86. Angie was the editor of TIA TSB-125 and most recently had significant contributions to the color task force as they revise ANSI/TIA-598, which is an internationally recognized standard on color coding for optical fiber. Angie’s contributions have been an important part of the success of TIA’s standards globally.

Ernie R. Jones
TR-14
TIA recognizes Ernie R. Jones for his significant contributions to the TIA-322 standard and the TR-14 Structural Standards Committee. Ernie was crucial in developing TIA-1019, focusing on the design and analysis of communication structures and antennas. As Co-Chair, he expanded TIA-1019 to cover guidelines from planning to field operations, leading to its division into TIA-322 and ASSP A10.48. Ernie mentored numerous engineers and contractors, widely sharing his industry expertise.
David Hess
TAG
TIA recognizes David Hess for his 23-year leadership as Chair of the US Technical Advisory Group to the ISO and IEC. Recognized twice with the prestigious IEC 1906 Award, Dave's expertise in signal integrity and transmission theory has significantly influenced standards at TIA, ANSI, IEC, and ISO/IEC. His contributions extend to numerous standards committees, including TIA (TR-42), US TAG, IEC, ISO/IEC, IEEE, and INCITS, with notable impacts on technologies like RS-232 and RS-485. Dave has been a pivotal leader and contributor at TIA for many years.

Greg Sandels

TIA recognizes Gregory Sandels for extraordinary contribution and service leading the TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems Engineering Committee and TR-42.13 Passive Optical Devices and Fiber Optic Metrology Subcommittee. Greg has for many years demonstrated exceptional leadership of TR-42 as Vice-Chair from June 2014 to January 2018, as Chair of TR-42 from June 2018 to January 2022, and as Chair of TR-42.13 from January 2014 to the present.
