[Webinar] Data Centers: Where is the Edge?
Over the past decade, the ICT industry has defined “the Edge” by using an evolving nomenclature and a variety of correlating applications encompassing everything from Far Edge, Near Edge and Enterprise Edge, to the IoT Edge, Edge Taxonomy, 5G Edge, and more. This murky understanding has caused the actual meaning of what constitutes as “the Edge” to easily get lost in translation. This webinar will feature a discussion with some of the authors of a new white paper published by TIA called, Where is the Edge? The speakers will explain previous and emerging edge concepts with the goal of identifying the common Edge architectures based on applications and users; simplifying the language used to describe or explain them; and, show where the Edge can be found today as well as where it will be found in the future.
