Course Details

Deep focus on fiber-related knowledge base and skill set for fiber optic technicians, fiber splicers and premise technicians. Designed with input from the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) Deployment Specialists Committee and others, this comprehensive course consists of approximately 144 hours of skills training and classroom knowledge. It is designed with a flexible, modular building block format to layer skills. Upon completion of the course, graduates will have the skills required for entry-level employment as a fiber optic technician to build, splice, test, and troubleshoot today’s FTTH networks.
