Basic Skills Training and FOA Certification Classes:

1. 2-day Skill Builder class. You receive personal attention while learning the skills we use in the field. This class is a good option if you want to get an introduction to the skills needed to become Fiber Technician.
2. 4-Day Certified Fiber Optic Tech (CFOT) Training: Prep cable, Fusion splice fiber, Terminate cables and connectors, Perform basic testing
3. 1-Day, Certified Fiber Optic Tech (CFOT) class is a good option for the busy, experienced in-house tech, contractor or supervisor.

Advanced FOA Certification Classes:

1. 2-Day Certified Fiber to the Home Specialist (FTTH): Fiber to the premises (home, business, and network locations) is a growing segment of fiber installation work. As residential customers demand internet access, streaming and business services, FTTH skills will be in demand. The CFOT, 4-Day or 1-Day is a prerequisite for this course.
2. 2-Day Certified Fiber Optic Specialist (CFOS): Develop advanced skills in splicing or network testing. Graduates of either program earn the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Fiber Optic Specialist (CFOS) certification upon passing the course exam. We prepare you for the FOA exam and help you build hands-on skills with equipment while learning techniques particular to splicing or testing. Participants must take the 4-Day CFOT or 1-Day CFOT prior to attending classes.
