Course Details

A modern, reliable network infrastructure is critical for transit systems to operate safely, efficiently and effectively. Transit Systems typically control, monitor, and collect data used for multiple types of equipment. Equipment monitored by a transit control center may include a large number of functions, such as vehicle control, scheduling, power control, ventilation control, pump monitoring, intrusion detection, CCTV, and data networks.

This course is designed for those who design, install or maintain fiber optic systems in commercial buildings and other facilities. It identifies you as an installer who demonstrates a practical knowledge of fiber optic theory, codes, standards and practices widely accepted in commercial buildings and customer-owned outside environments (campus).
