Certified Fiber Optics Training

Following successful completion of this one-week course, you will gain certifications in 3 Fiber Optics Specialist areas.

CFOT-Certified Fiber Optic Basic Training – The student will find that the Basic CFOT Course offers a real-world approach to fiber network understanding. This fiber optic training course is a recommended prerequisite to the other Courses.

CFOS/S-Fiber Optics Splicing Specialist- This specialist program focuses on mechanical and fusion splicing of fiber optics networks. The student will be expected to build their own fiber network using a variety of mechanical and fusion splicing techniques.

CFOS/T-Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing & Maintenance- This specialist program focuses on the testing & maintenance of single-mode networks. With emphasis on the OLTS and OTDR, this course presents extreme, real-world challenges to the attending student.
