Building the Resilient Future

Data center supply chains face strain from reshoring and new tariffs, causing quality variability and deployment delays. Global demand, fueled by AI and cloud computing, is expected to triple by 2030, requiring $6.7 trillion in investment. Of this, $5.2 trillion is dedicated to AI-ready facilities. To address vulnerabilities in uptime and sustainability caused by inconsistent standards, Google and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) are partnering. They aim to develop a Data Center Quality Standard, initially focusing on physical infrastructure, to future-proof AI data centers against these uncertainties.
