TIA Issues a Ballot and Public Review Notification for TIA-568.1-F, Commercial Buildings

Arlington VA (April 20, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.1 Engineering Committee on Premises Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a ballot and call for comments for TIA-568.1-F, initially titled “Commercial Buildings”.

Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: End users, customers, installers, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, designers, integrators, architects, engineers

TIA is seeking broad input as per the public review announcement in ANSI’s Standards Action for directly and materially affected parties. In addition, we are actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
