TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project for Structured Cabling Infrastructure Guidelines to Support Distributed Antenna Systems
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA (March 2, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.1 Engineering Committee on Premises Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a call for interest for document TIA-5018-A initially titled ” Structured Cabling Infrastructure Guidelines to Support Distributed Antenna Systems”. TR-42.1 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: Converting TSB to ANSI standard to provide guidelines for DAS cabling infrastructure including cabling topology, design, components, installation practices, and testing.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: end users, customers, installers, consultants, manufacturers.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
