TIA Congratulates 2025 Star and QuEST Forum Award Winners

Distinguished leadership and commitment to advancing the industry.

Arlington, VA (February 5, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association—the trusted industry association for the connected world— proudly announces the recipients of its two annual awards programs: the TIA Star Awards and the TIA QuEST Forum Awards. These awards celebrate the most dedicated members whose leadership, expertise, and active engagement help advance the global ICT industry through TIA’s standards development and strategic initiatives.

The TIA Star Awards recognize outstanding companies and individuals whose leadership and engagement have directly contributed to the development of technical standards, the success of certification programs, and impactful government advocacy efforts. This program honors those who go above and beyond to strengthen the quality, innovation, and reliability of today’s communications infrastructure.

2025 TIA Star Award winners are:

  • TIA Star Award Individual Winner: Jonathan Jew, J&M Consultants
  • TIA Star Award Company Winner: Legrand
  • TIA Star Rookie of the Year Winner: Michael Stover, Optical Cable Corporation
  • Additionally, TIA recognizes the top contributing 2% and 5% of individuals and companies.

The TIA QuEST Forum Awards recognize the exceptional individuals and organizations driving progress across TIA’s quality and security initiatives. These awards honor the contributors whose leadership, technical insight, and sustained engagement are helping advance industry‑wide improvements in ICT quality, reliability, and supply‑chain security.

2025 TIA QuEST Forum Award Recipients:

  • Volunteer of the Year: Stephen Choy, Infinera
  • Company Participant of the Year: Nokia
  • Additionally, QuEST Forum recognizes 340 Club members for exceptional participation and commitment to TIA QuEST Forum.

“We are pleased to recognize Stephen Choy as the 2025 TIA QuEST Forum Volunteer of the Year and to congratulate Nokia for earning Company Participant of the Year,” said Mike Regan, Vice President of QuEST Forum at TIA. “Their expertise and active participation have been instrumental as we advance the next major revision of the TL 9000 standard and extend our quality and security frameworks into the rapidly expanding data center vertical. The dedication of these contributors strengthens the foundation of trusted ICT infrastructure worldwide.”
