TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project for Project 25 Trunking Control Channel Messages
Arlington VA (January 21, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Air Interface has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.AABC-F, initially titled “Project 25 Trunking Control Channel Messages”.
TR-8.10 is creating this revision to incorporate three work efforts: 1. Addresses errata (current version published in 2019); 2. Integrates three outstanding addenda’s; 3. Changes to existing content and new content as a result of the Link Layer Encryption effort.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: TR-8.10 participants and P25 manufacturers.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
