TIA elects new officers and welcomes 2 new board members

Arlington, VA (January 21, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the trusted industry association for the connected world, today announced the election of the following new officers of the organization’s Board of Directors:

  • Bruce McClelland, President and CEO at Ribbon Communications as Board Chair. Bruce previously held the treasurer position.
  • Annie Bogue, SVP and Chief Sales Officer at 1Finity as Treasurer.
  • Koen ter Linde, President Connectivity & Cable Solutions at CommScope, an Amphenol Company and Trevor Smith, General Manager, Optical Connectivity at Molex have joined the Executive Committee of the Board.

In addition to the new officers, 2 new board members were elected at the November meeting:

  • Kristen Jaarda, Director of Government Affairs, Global Policy, Motorola Solutions, Inc.
  • Tom McLaughlin, CEO, ATX Networks
