An increasing demand for new hands-on skills and best practices is driving a parallel demand for cutting-edge, hands-on training to bridge the industry’s fiber skills gap. A new training opportunity from SCTE answers this call: Broadband Fiber Installer (BFI) Boot Camp.
SCTE presents a comprehensive program encompassing all ETA FOI, FOA CFOT, and Corning competencies to ensure a thorough and effective learning experience.
About the Boot Camp
- Based on SCTE’s BFI course and taught by an industry-certified expert
- Equips learners with the expertise required to earn SCTE’s nationally recognized BFI professional certification
- Includes a hands-on vendor presentation and an instructor-led tour of the TechExpo floor during show hours
- Includes registration for the online BFI course and professional certification exam
Revolving Training Opportunities
The SCTE Boot Camp training program will be held throughout the year in locations across the United States, including at SCTE in Exton, Pennsylvania, at CableLabs’ headquarters in Louisville, Colorado, and in collaboration with SCTE chapters nationwide. Topics will vary. Boot Camps may also be held in collaboration with member operators at their offices.
