TR-14 March 2021 Virtual Committee Meeting Highlights

TR-14

TIA’s TR-14 Engineering Committee for Structural Standards for Communication and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures held their first Virtual Committee Meeting for 2021 on March 25, 2021.

Here are some highlights from that meeting:

  • TIA CEO, Dave Stehlin, gave a TIA Update focusing on Standards Development, Technology Enablement Programs, Government Programs, and the QuEST Forum Community
  • TIA VP of Standards, Tom McGarry, gave a TIA Standards Update and talked about committee engagement, TIA’s Stars Program and TIA Connect migration
  • TIA Director of Global Standards Program, Victoria Mitchell, gave a TIA Connect Update and did some basic training with the group
  • TR-14 Chair, Bryan Lanier, shared the new TR-14 Committee structure and roles as they relate to TIA-322 & TIA-222 revisions
  • The new TIA-322 & TIA-322 Chairmen and new Ad Hoc Task Group Leadership were introduced
  • TIA-322 & TIA-222 revisions timelines were announced
