TIA Publishes New Standards- ANSI/TIA-455-225-A and ANSI/TIA-455-231-A
Arlington VA (July 10, 2024) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released two new documents, ANSI/TIA-455-225-A FOTP-225 Adoption of IEC-61745:2017 End-Face Image Analysis Procedure for the Calibration of Optical Fiber Geometry Test Sets and ANSI/TIA-455-231-A FOTP-231 Adoption of IEC-61315:2019 Calibration of Fiber-Optic Power Meters.
ANSI/TIA-455-225-A revises ANSI/TIA-455-225 and adopt IEC 61745:2017 – End-face image analysis procedure for the calibration of optical fiber geometry test sets.
ANSI/TIA-455-231-A revises ANSI/TIA-455-231 and adopt IEC 61315:2019 – Calibration of fiber-optic power meters.
