TIA Publishes New Standard- ANSI/TIA-455-86-B
Arlington VA (June 25, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-455-86-B FOTP-86 Optical Fiber Cable Jacket Shrinkage.
ANSI/TIA-455-86-B is revising ANSI/TIA-455-86-A, FOTP-86 Optical Fiber Cable Jacket Shrinkage. Change oven to maintain +/- 3 °C, sample can move freely on horizontal surface and shrinkage to a positive value.
