TIA Issues New Project 25 – Digital Radio Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR) Messages and Procedures Standard
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA (August 2, 2023) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-102.AACA-C, Project 25 – Digital Radio Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR) Messages and Procedures Standard.
TIA-102.AACA-C This revision of OTAR Messages and Procedures TIA-102.AACA-B to provide an additional method of Enhanced Message Authentication using Cipher-based Message Authentication Code (CMAC).
TIA-102.AACA-C was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-8 Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards.
