TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project For Wireless Communications Systems — Performance in Noise- and Interference- Limited Situations — Part 6: Recommended Methods for Measurement and Interference Assessment for In-Building Emitters
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (February 6. 2024) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.18 Engineering Committee on Wireless Systems Compatibility- Interference and Coverage has issued a call for interest for document TSB-88.6 initially titled ” Wireless Communications Systems — Performance in Noise- and Interference- Limited Situations — Part 6: Recommended Methods for Measurement and Interference Assessment for In-Building Emitters “. TR-8.18 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: Recommended methods for measurement and interference assessment for in-building emitters at frequencies below 1 GHz.
The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: RF Consultants; Private Land Mobile Radio (PLMR) equipment manufacturers; PLMR system integrators; PLMR system owners/users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
