TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project For Trunking Procedures – Addendum 3 – Remotely Activated Emergency
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation
Arlington VA. (November 17, 2023) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.AABD-B-3 initially titled “Trunking Procedures – Addendum 3 – Remotely Activated Emergency”.
TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: This addendum adds procedures in support of the Remotely Activated Emergency Request and Command messages.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Manufacturers of P25 equipment.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
