TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project For Radiowave Propagation Path Loss Measurement and Validation
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation
Arlington VA. (October 27, 2013) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.18 Engineering Committee on Wireless Systems Compatibility, Interference and Coverage has issued a call for interest for document TSB-176-B initially titled ” Radiowave Propagation Path Loss Measurement and Validation”.
TR-8.18 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: This document defines recommended methods for measuring and validating radio propagation data for application in Land Mobile Radio.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: RF Consultants, Radio System Owners, Radio Equipment Manufacturers, RF System Integrators.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
