Arlington VA (November 5, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8 Engineering Committee on Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards has issued a call for interest for document TBS-102-E, initially titled “Project 25 TIA-102 Documentation Suite Overview”.
TR-8 is creating a new project because the current version was published in 2020. The TR8 attendance agreed that a general “refresh” is necessary. Updates will include the latest TIA publications, a general review of diagrams, terminology, and descriptions of any functionality added since 2020.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: P25 manufacturers and users.
TIA is seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
