TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Loading, Analysis, and Design Criteria Related to the Installation, Alteration and Maintenance of Communication Structures

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (December 11, 2020) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-14 Engineering Committee on Structural Standards for Communications and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-322-A initially titled ” Loading, Analysis, and Design Criteria Related to the Installation, Alteration and Maintenance of Communication Structures “. TR-14 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: ” Create a new revision to the TIA-322 standard to be consistent with industry practice and harmonization with the A10.48 Standard.”

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Industry, Steel Antenna Towers, Users and Manufacturers.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
