TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project For FOTP-204 Adoption of IEC 60793-1-41:2024 Optical Fibers – Part 1:41 – Measurement Methods and Test Procedures – Bandwidth
Arlington VA. (July 23, 2024) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.12 Engineering Committee on Optical Fibers and Cables has issued a call for interest for document TIA-455-204-B, initially titled “Adoption of IEC 60793-1-41:2024- Optical Fibers- Part 1:41- Measurement Methods and Test Procedures – Bandwidth”.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to, telecom, optical fiber manufacturers, optical cable manufactures, developers, users.
TIA is seeking broad input as per the public review announcement in ANSI’s Standards Action for directly and materially affected parties. In addition, we are actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
