TIA Issues Ballot for TIA-222-I- Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures, Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures Standard
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (August 17, 2023) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-14 Engineering Committee on Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers & Antenna Supporting Structure has issued a ballot to address substantive changes for document TIA-222-I initially titled “- Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures, Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures “. TR-14 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: Create a new revision (Rev. I) to the TIA-222 standard to ensure conformity with referenced standards and consistency with findings within the wireless industry. The entire document is open for comment.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Telecom, Telecommunications, Structural Engineering, Antenna, Wireless.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
