Telecommunications Tower Technician

The Telecommunications Tower Technician Training program is a two-part course that begins with a required 4-day Broadband Essentials class. The second part of the program is hands-on practical training.

This four-week program prepares participants for a career as a Telecommunications Tower Technician. The increased focus on expanding high-speed broadband access across Arkansas has increased the demand for qualified individuals with these specific skills.

Utilizing curriculum designed in partnership with industry, participants have the opportunity to successfully complete the training needed to safely climb, install, and repair telecommunications equipment atop towers sometimes exceeding 200 feet in height.
